don't touch the petroglyphs
Feb. 12th, 2005 04:05 pmI have been hiking and tramping through mountainous terrain and wading through streamlets with a coworker, all because I wanted see a flowing river and waterfall where there is usually a dry rock bed and a cliff. This transformation does not occur often in southern Arizona. Every few minutes I would stop hiking and plunge my hands in the nearest stream just to feel the running water. That is how novel this experience is to me.
Now I am dirty, tired, my legs are wet, and I am all too aware of what horrible shape I'm in. Time for a shower and a nap.
