I used to think that I could never possibly tire of reading about gamma ray bursts. I was somewhat mistaken.

HOMEWORK BREAK MEME. Lo, I have summed up ten "fandoms" in ten sentences. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT THEY ARE? I can't. And I thought I was bad at the lyric meme.

Ah, how nice it is to check my balance in the process of writing this post to discover that I have two-hundred dollars more than I thought I had.

So I had all four of the third molars pulled in one session, with a compromise on the drugs: I had a partial anesthesia, so that I wasn't completely knocked out, but still feeling out-of-body enough to make the surgery easier. Instead of being out of it all day, I was up and moving ten minutes after they finished up. Aside from the dull throbbing pain in my jaw, everything is healing up just fine.

Well, there is ONE other thing: my upper right wisdom tooth's roots went all the way up to my nasal passage, so there is now a hole leading from the tooth's empty socket to my sinuses. It's just plain weird. Sometimes, after brushing my teeth or rinsing my mouth, I'll lean over only to find water dribbling out of my nose, once along with herbs that had accented my dinner that night. I've been told that the hole will heal on its own within a month. It had damn well better, because the novelty of the thing is beginning to wear off.

All in all, having teeth pulled is a shitty way to spend Spring Break, but it would be an even shitter way to spend a normal school week, so I'm fairly content. That might just be the generic Vicadin, though.

Money, work, school, dull.

ETA: The surgeon looks rather like Morden. This is both amusing and sort of freaky.
