HEY YOU. Request a ficlet! A game ficlet, past or present! I will write it!

PUNCHLINE: GIMME A WEIRD REQUEST. Different setting? Past fic? Future fic? Crossover? AU where X never happened? Noncanon pairing? Canon pairing in a different setting in the future? The theme here is me writing something a little different. Or a lot different. GO CRAZY.

DISCLAIMER: The fic will appear in mid-May, after the semester ends. I'm asking for requests now because it'll give my brain fun things to think about as school destroys it. This will be my dangling carrot, or my end-of-semester gift to me or something.

So request, or I'll come up with some of my own and you'll get Devona fic in the Old West or something.

Remember these drabbles? Well, they're not going to be drabbles, they're going to be ficlets. Why? You people deserve more than 100 words after waiting so long, and besides, it just wouldn't be as much fun. Why have they not gotten done? I'm always putting them off in favor of things that my brain has deemed "more important." I look at writing as a fun thing to do, and all too often "fun" falls to the bottom of my priority list. It's summer, so I can change that now. At least somewhat. My work hours tend to increase during the summer.

SO ANYWAY, if you would like to clarify/confirm/cross out/change around a previous request, YOU DO THAT. If you would like to make a second request, YOU DO THAT. If you would like to request for the first time, please go through registration, and then YOU DO THAT. I'll take requests for fandoms as well as RPGs this time. These particular ficlets may wind up being strange and bewildering as I have never done actual fanfic before, but I shall try my level best, as with Relia's request.

Okay, so there is a meme going around wherein the participant gives commentary on one of their written works, like a DVD commentary. Unfortunately, I cannot participate in this, because I HAVE no public written works. I have some older written works that were once public, but you will NEVER SEE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE GONE NOW AND THEY WILL STAY THAT WAY BECAUSE THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND I NEVER WANT TO LAY EYES ON THEM AGAIN.

Instead, I will build a new body of written work in tiny little chunks by participating in ANOTHER meme, the one where YOUS GUYS request a drabble/ficlet/very-short-story on the subject of your choice with the characters of your choice. Just bear in mind that I work better with RPG characters, and that traditional fanfic makes me go insane. I mean, I could still try if someone really wanted me to, but it would be very weird.

SOMEONE REQUEST SOMETHING AND I'LL SEE IF I CAN MAKE IT DO OR CRY TRYING.
