So I just RPed in a MUSH for the first time ever.

On a note related to THAT note, I'm getting back into Fushigi Yuugi again. This time it's through the manga that I've had lying around forever but never read. It's very similar to the anime, but I actually like it a little better. The differences are few and subtle, like an extra line here and there, but they add to the story in their own way. Or maybe it's simply been so long since I've seen the show that I'm imagining things.

Also: I realize that I LIKE Miaka. Before it was a matter of indifference that grew into fondness, especially as she matured towards the end of the series, but here I am at the beginning of the series and I like her a lot. She's just so damned adorable, plus she's funny and she's got a great personality. Where, then, does all the Miaka hate come from? WHERE? (Scowl Village, in the nation of Angertania?)

I used to dislike Miaka cause she was such a ditz at the beginning of the series, and stupidity in large amounts... No. You are right, however. She is cute. Despite the fact that every other episode turns into an 'omg I'm gonna wander off again ohnoes help save me!' fest.

However... I dislike Yui more -_-; (though at the same time feel sorry for her) I just recentely watched the series over again and found myself getting more and more sick of her as the series progressed. I just kept saying to myself, "Damnit, bitch. Get the hell over it." But alas...

As far as main characters go, Miaka is very tolerable. I neither dislike or nor really like her but that is to be expected of me. Never understood the reason there is so much of Miaka hating but meh whatever. Every fandom will have this - some deserved and some not. Can't say anything else at the moment, its been a while since I've watched it. Plus, I'm gonna go listen to some Japanese Little Mermaid music.

That reminds me that I should actually go watch the series, since I bought part of it. (YAY FOR USED ANIME.) That will join my to-do list, along with watching Last Exile, Utena, and Totoro, all of which I've bought and haven't watched yet.

OKAY. NO MORE BUYING MOVIES TILL I'VE WATCHED ALL THE STUFF I OWN.
