thezHow long has it been since my parents acclimated me to a rare climate and made me a total wuss in the face of cold and/or humidity?
It's been 20 years (and one day) since the Beardsley family came to Arizona. We drove out here from Chicago in a '79 Impala when I was three and a half years old, and we arrived in Phoenix at the end of Independence Day when everyone was setting off their fireworks.
THAT'S RIGHT, I'M WHAT MAKES INDEPENDENCE DAY COOL. I ALSO MAKE CHRISTMAS COOL.
AND HALLOWEEN AND FLAG DAY WHY NOT.

In fact, I'm not sure it's the greatest time to drive to Phoenix, unless you get your kicks from your engine overheating. I'm not quite sure how we managed to make it.

That's much better. The three balloons clearly indicate the ominous pausing inbetween each clipped sentence. Proper rhetorical skills are among the many reasons why Aku has a hot girlfriend and is a former champion. ^_^
And I have to drive out during summer anyway, after I secure a spot in command of a local classroom but prior to the 2007-08 school year. T_T
