Now is when I vent.

Full of hate.
Cooked food.
Spent two hours cooking food.
ME. I. COOKED. FOOD.
First time I've ever cooked.
Left the food on the counter. Went to the bathroom. Came back.
I forget that we have a cat sometimes. I remember very quickly that we have a cat when he is eating some of the food, standing on the rest of the food.
So the first real meal I've ever cooked is in the garbage, and I am very hungry and very angry and very tired because cooking is especially difficult for newbies.
And I hate hate hate hate hate HATE cats.
And dogs. But that's another story.

Date: 2006-09-22 04:29 am (UTC)Anyway, it was vegetables, eggs, mostly onigiri (so, rice and FISH, which would explain the cat, because we rarely have fish in the house). To be honest, most of the time involved me figuring out how to properly cook Japanese rice.
I'm just glad that I'd already put a serving of it in the fridge for lunch the next day, so it wasn't a total wasted effort.
