I made an ass of myself in public for legitimate reasons yesterday when I sang Charlie Daniels Band karaoke in a bar in Tucson. I was awesome, except for the singing too fast and the DJ telling me to get off the chair. I was stinking sober. mko and I DID have plans to get drunk and try to beat Super Mario Brothers 3 (because isn't that what you do at bachelorette parties?), but we just didn't get very far into the "drunk" part of the plan, which is just as well since we had such a difficult time beating it while not drunk. We are so out of practice. nobara would totally laugh at us and then beat the game blindfolded.

ETA: I forgot to mention that the karaoke list at the bar had "Springtime for Hitler" from The Producers on it. Heh. Ha ha. What? We sort of wanted to sing it, but the idea of the song out of the context of the movie/play is a bit disconcerting.
